Stories from The Shard of Glass.
Stories from The Shard came to the forefront of the national and international press at the start of April. Brad and Otter simultaneously posted reports on their blogs and within 48 hours, every major newspaper and broadcaster with any interest in London or the forthcoming Olympics was seeking information and interviews from anybody who explored in London, to run front page stories. Dereliction Fetish
July 11
It was a nice experience, to delve into dereliction again. After months of construction, sewers, tunnels, trains and cranes, the prospect of a day of derelict places was starting to appeal and as such, the derpmaster general of the group put together a list of musty places to go in The Midlands.
Bevis Mark
March 2011
The City of London is a happy hunting ground for the ascension inclined amongst the community. Bevis Mark is undergoing ‘improvements’ in the same way that Kings Reach Tower was, and at just 9 stories, would probably be left aside if it wasn’t immediately adjacent to 30 St Mary’s Axe, AKA ‘The Gherkin’. Unnamed
December 2010
Some nights you just have to travel together to a disused conference centre, play some tunes and drink beers, then sleep in a part built hotel nearby that ran out of funds after completing no more than 4 rooms, but still hadn’t turned off the electricity . Novotel – June 2010

Originally meeting for a couple of beers and some of the finest grub mr JD Wetherspoon could muster, we discussed our recent lack of high stuff as we walked past the local Novotel, realising that maybe we could get up on the roof there.
Go West – May 2010
Another 28DL meet was arranged, and my attendance in Cardiff was confirmed when I realised what there was to do on the way down. Following Guildford, Bristol and Manchester’s previous nights of antics in years gone by, I pencilled myself in and got arranging.
Ticking Boxes – April 2010
March/April 2010 has been quite a busy period, what with visiting some drains, getting high in London, doing some interesting new stuff and then some stuff that’s under lock and key until I feel like it (probably next week or so…)
So here’s a few of those little things that just get done along the way. Read the rest of this entry »
